All services provided on this website are owned and operated by SKYSEED TECH LLC.

By installing or using the Stargaze Camp app or the website stargazecamp.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

Licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control. On iPhone and iPad, the licence is Apple’s standard End User License Agreement (Apple Standard EULA), which applies together with these terms; if they conflict on a point covered by the EULA, the EULA wins. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell or repackage the app, or copy its data in bulk.

Purchases

  • Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks the paid features on your account at the store. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
  • This version of the app has no subscription. If we ever add one, its price, period and renewal terms will be shown in the app before you buy.
  • Prices are shown in the app in your local currency and may change; price changes follow the store’s rules.
  • Apple or Google handles billing and refunds under their own rules. Use “Report a Problem” at Apple or the order history at Google Play. You can restore purchases at any time (see Support).

Accuracy and safety

Sky darkness, cloud forecasts, moon times and aurora chances are estimates built from public data and models. They can be wrong. Campground details such as sites, hookups, size limits and closures come from public records and may be out of date. Always check availability and conditions with the managing agency or Recreation.gov before you travel. Night driving, remote roads, cold, wildlife, wildfire smoke and weather are real risks; you are responsible for your own safety and trip decisions. The app does not provide navigation; directions open in your maps app.

No warranty and limits of liability

The app and website are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, SKYSEED TECH LLC is not liable for any loss, injury or cost arising from use of the app, including trips you plan with it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Content and licences

The app’s code, design and layout are owned by SKYSEED TECH LLC. Data and open-source components keep their own licences, listed on the credits page. Trips and notes you create are yours. Results and files you generate with the website tools, such as calendars, tables and star map images, may be used for personal and commercial purposes without attribution; the third-party data they rest on keeps its own licence. Stargaze Camp is not affiliated with or endorsed by NOAA, the National Weather Service, the National Park Service, Recreation.gov, Apple or Google.
